Psychotherapy is a clinical, evidence based healing method with the aim of improving psychological, mental, social or psychosomatic wellbeing to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviours, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions in order to help a person change and overcome problems in desired ways and thus support personal development and quality of life.
In many cases illness and suffering of our body, mind and psyche are caused by external factors and our experiences.
